Today, the President of the Republic of Korea Yoon Suk Yeol and his wife Kim Kong Hee visited Kyiv. Olena Zelenska announced this in her Telegram channel. The first ladies of Ukraine and South Korea visited the Center for the Protection of Children’s Rights together, where Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets spoke about the state of return of Ukrainian children to Ukraine, how the Russian Federation violates the rights of Ukrainian children, and how the Russian military investigates and records war crimes against Ukrainian children. Also, Lubinets noted in his Telegram channel that he presented the First Lady with a special report “Undeveloped: Violations of the rights of Ukrainian children in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and in the Russian Federation: deportation, militarization, indoctrination”.
“I noted that the task we set when creating this Center is to ensure the provision of a complex of social services, including full medical care, material and technical support, temporary housing, social and psychological rehabilitation of the child and his family members,” he adds.
The first ladies talked with their sisters recently returned from the temporarily occupied territory, who offered Olena Zelenska, Kim Kong Hee and Dmytro Lubinets to make temporary tattoos. “Neither the first ladies nor I could refuse,” writes the ombudsman.
