The Prime Ministers of Sweden and Belgium honored the memory of the victims of the terrorist attack in Brussels

Sweden’s prime ministers Ulf Kristersson and Belgium’s Alexander de Croogh have paid tribute to the victims of the Brussels terror attack, in which a radical Islamist gunned down two Swedish nationals who had visited Belgium to support their national soccer team.

This is reported by European Pravda with reference to Reuters.

The heads of government of both countries took part in a short ceremony at the site of the incident. At the event, Kristersson was dressed in a football scarf of the Swedish national team, de Kroo – in a T-shirt of the Swedish national team. The prime ministers laid wreaths in memory of the victims to the accompaniment of a sad cello melody, as well as a scarf with the symbols of the Swedish national team and a T-shirt.

“We are united in our fight against radical Islamist extremism,” the Swedish and Belgian foreign ministries said in a joint statement in response to the terrorist attack.
