ZARA, Massimo Dutti and Bershka may return to Ukraine already this year.
The Spanish group Inditex, which owns such popular brands as ZARA, Pull&Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, Oysho, Zara Home and others, can resume the operation of its stores until the end of October.
This was stated by the head of the Ukrainian Council of Shopping Centers Maksym Havryushin.
Havryushyn believes that the return of this group is very important from an economic, social, and political point of view, because Inditex is one of the largest retailers in Ukraine. As he noted, the opening of Inditex will also be a signal for other international retailers to reopen or open new stores.
“I have a feeling that the opening may happen sooner than it seems. The nearest window of opportunity for this is the end of August – the end of October. If it does not happen during this period, the next window will be in the spring,” added the head of the URTC.
