Greetings from the Ambassador of Ukraine to the State of Israel Hennadii Nadolenko on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the proclamation of the State of Israel:
I sincerely congratulate the citizens of Israel on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the proclamation of the State of Israel.
Friendly and mutually beneficial relations have been established between our countries, due to the existence of long-standing historical ties between the Ukrainian and Jewish people. Immigrants from Ukraine at various stages of historical development have made a significant contribution to the establishment and consequently the proclamation of the State of Israel.
The State of Israel had a difficult historical path and the Jewish people paid a high price in thousands of lives in the struggle for freedom and independence of the State of Israel.
Today, when Ukraine faces military aggression and our country has to defend its territorial integrity and sovereignty, I want to express the hope that the mutual support of the Israeli and Ukrainian people will become even more tangible.
To date, there have been many significant achievements between our countries. We continue to deepen our mutually beneficial cooperation in the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres and open up new opportunities for cooperation for the benefit of our peoples.
On this Day, I want to wish the friendly people of Israel peace and prosperity.
