Starting next week, it will be possible to purchase a new postage stamp in Finland, which was issued in honor of joining the NATO military alliance.
The stamp depicts the national colors of each of the member countries of the alliance. According to the Finnish Posti, it will be possible to purchase it from September 6, 2023.
Finland became a new member of NATO in April 2023.
“The brand is a reflection of its time. It can both highlight current issues and commemorate historical milestones. Such were, for example, Finland’s membership in the EU and the 100th anniversary of Finland’s independence,” says design manager Tommy Kantola in a Posti press release.
