In the first half of 2023, the number of Ukrainian citizens decreased by approximately 10,000 people.
This was reported in the Migration Department of the country.
Regarding this, they expressed the opinion that the decrease is probably related to “changes in the migration of Ukrainian refugees”.
At the beginning of 2023, the number of Ukrainians living in Lithuania was 94,891, but at the beginning of July this number decreased to 84,734.
At the same time, the number of residents of other countries increased by more than 6,000. Among them there is a significant number of Belarusians, a small number of Russians.
