Lithuania will build a school in Bucha. It also plans to invest 18 million euros in educational infrastructure in the city.
As LTR notes, EUR 0.5 million of funds from the European Climate Change Program will be invested in measures to improve energy efficiency.
The built modern school, which will meet the latest environmental requirements, will be handed over to the municipality of Buchi free of charge.
In general, the project provides that the complex with an area of 14.6 thousand square meters. m will consist of a school, a kindergarten and sports grounds. It was prepared by the Lithuanian architectural studio 2L Architects and the Ukrainian architectural studio Baust Architects. And the total cost of the project will be 18 million euros.
The building will reportedly be equipped with heat pumps, geothermal equipment and geothermal equipment, a 600-kilowatt solar power plant. Up to 880 children will be able to attend the school and kindergarten.
The school is expected to open on September 1, 2025.
