The meeting between President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and Federal Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel, who is on a visit to Ukraine at the invitation of the Ukrainian President, began. The meeting takes place in vis-a-vis format.
The President met the Chancellor of Germany on the porch of the Mariyinsky Palace. The Heads of State heard the report of the head of the company of the Honor Guard. The military orchestra performed the State Anthems of Germany and Ukraine.
