The United States of America and Bulgaria have agreed to cooperate effectively to counter foreign information manipulation operations.
This is reported by European Truth, referring to the US State Department.
These countries signed a document on mutual understanding, which lays the foundations for a joint fight against the spread of disinformation and manipulation.
The parties declared their intentions to develop joint approaches to better understand foreign disinformation. And also regarding the development of cooperation mechanisms in order to counteract the threat.
It is noted that cooperation will include solutions at the state level, support of civil society in this area and multilateral interaction.
