The well-known Ukrainian football player and coach Andriy Shevchenko was appointed as an adviser to the President of Ukraine outside the state.

Decree “On the appointment of A. Shevchenko as an adviser to the President of Ukraine” No. 589/2023 appeared on the president’s website on September 26, 2023.
Previously, in the elections to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in 2012, Shevchenko’s party became another number on the list of Natalia Korolevska’s party “Ukraine – Forward!”, but the party did not collect the required number of votes in order to win parliament.
In 2022, he became the first ambassador of the national fundraising platform UNITED24 at the request of the President of Ukraine. We organized a benefit match in Great Britain to collect funds for a school in the Chernihiv region. The reconstruction of the rebuilt stadium in Irpen is currently underway.
