Ukraine and Romania signed a declaration on cooperation in key areas

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and the President of Romania, Klaus Iohannis, signed a bilateral document documenting the countries’ agreements on cooperation in priority areas.

“We have just signed a bilateral declaration that fixes the key things in our cooperation – both security, including in the Black Sea region, and support of our “peace formula”, and the expansion of our logistical and economic cooperation,” Zelenskyy said, quoted by European Pravda.

It is also known that it was about increasing the transit of Ukrainian agricultural products, establishing transport links between Ukraine and Romania, simplifying border crossing procedures and opening new border crossing points.

According to him, the same document reflects the parties’ approaches to interaction with national communities. However, its text or summary has not yet been published.
