Ukraine and the USA reached an agreement on the meeting of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and the USA President Donald Trump.
Such information was reported by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin. The exact date has not yet been named, but according to the Minister, it can be concluded that the meeting will take place before the G20 summit, which should take place in July.
According to Pavlo Klimkin, the work on a speech for the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko is already in progress in the Presidential Administration of Ukraine, and the exact date will be notified both in official Kyiv and Washington.
It is expected that during the meeting the leaders of both countries will discuss the position of the regulator for the USA in the war in eastern Ukraine and increasing pressure on Russia. It is also possible to include the discussion of economic and military assistance for Ukraine to agenda.
It should be recalled that in May, Minister of Foreign Affairs Pavlo Klimkin and Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine Valerii Chalyi have already met Donald Trump where, it can be assumed, it was agreed on future meeting of Poroshenko and Donald Trump.
As for Ukraine, a scheduled meeting of the presidents indicates that the USA is open to dialogue, the results of which can be discussed more after the meeting.
