The former German ambassador to Ukraine is leaving Ukraine, the new one has already arrived in Kyiv

The newly appointed ambassador of Germany to Ukraine succeeds Anka Feldhusen.

On July 10, Permanent Ambassador of Germany Feldhusen completed her diplomatic mission in Ukraine. Leaving her post, she recorded a touching video and said that she would continue to work on supporting Ukraine at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Berlin.

She is being replaced by Martin Jaeger, who arrived in Kyiv on July 20.

On the website of the Ministry, it is noted that the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Yevhen Perebiinys, accepted copies of the credentials from him.

DW reports that Jaeger assured of Germany’s support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and also emphasized the readiness of the German government to further strengthen military, economic and humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
