The American photo agency Getty Images is preparing its own artificial intelligence tool that will generate images from the company’s content library.
This is reported by Economic Pravda with reference to Bloomberg.
It is noted that this is an attempt to create content with artificial intelligence, free from copyright and ownership issues. They were the ones who hindered this technology earlier.
The development of this product is planned together with the chip manufacturer Nvidia. It is already known that he will be trained to work with Getty’s own data. Including, it will try to bypass complex legal problems.
Getty’s creative image bank will be used to work with it, but without its collection of news photos.
Getty will allow customers to add their own data or branding. But the image generator will not allow users to use material or assets protected by trademarks that they do not own.
It is also reported that the images will receive Getty’s usual content license and compensation for lawsuits.
