Joint Group Yoox Net-A-Porter summed up 2016 – Company sales have grown up by 17.7%, reaching 1.87 billion euros. The group was established in 2015 through the merger of Yoox and Net-A-Porter companies.
The sales have grown by increasing the number of customers: online stores of the group were attended by 28.8 million people per year (there were 26.7 million of unique visitors in 2015). The number of orders has increased by 18.8% to 8.4 million, while average order value has dropped to 334 euros compared to 352 euros in the previous year. Half of sales are due to orders by dint of smartphones.
The experts of Yoox Net-A-Porter say that currency exchange fluctuations remain the main risk. “Rapid creation of our group’s combined ecosystem lays the foundation for long-term development”, – says the head of Yoox Net-A-Porter Federico Marchetti.
The Yoox Net-A-Porter group has four multi-brand online stores: Net-A-Porter, Mr Porter, Yoox, The Outnet and 40 flagship online mono-brands.
