Firstly, a new Law “On State Aid to Undertakings” step-by-step applies European rules, which control subsidies to enterprises. The rules strike a balance between preserving fair competition between companies and achieving objectives that market would otherwise not deliver.
Secondly, the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has been collecting, analyzing and systematizing information on actual volumes and areas of state aid provided to Ukrainian companies.
Thirdly, new rules are set to ultimately benefit consumers and make use of public funds much more efficient. Also – expect much less pressure on businesses and more competition in the market.
