On November 7 the THIRD International Charity Evening Parade of Nations was held at the Fairmont Grand Hotel Kyiv.
Among the countries of the 2019 Nations Parade were: Algeria, Argentina, Afghanistan, Belgium, Bulgaria, Vietnam, Armenia, Greece, Georgia, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Iran, Italy, Kazakhstan, Qatar, Kyrgyzstan, China, Cyprus, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Malaysia, Morocco, Mexico, Moldova, The United Arab Emirates, Palestine, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Turkmenistan, Hungary and Uzbekistan.
All of these, 24 countries participated in the concert program. Each country presented its national attire, national flag and creative number.
— This year, many countries have joined the event. There were countries that already participated in the First and Second Parades of Nations. They came to visit the concert program of the countries that joined this year, – says Anna Avramenko, organizer of the Parade of Nations Editor-in-Chief of Fashion of Diplomacy.
Among the guests were ambassadors, diplomats, representatives of the Government of Ukraine, patrons, businessmen and representatives of artistic community.
— I see the potential, because for the second time in a row, I am personally there. And I see this project evolving, expanding, deepening the emotional and friendly relationships and that is what we currently need with our partners, our friends and neighbors. Therefore, we will strongly support and assist both the Fashion of Diplomacy and the Parade of Nations, and similar projects, – said MP, Representative of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine – Irina Vereshchuk.
The concert program was opened by Ukrainian virtuoso pianist Yevgeny Khmara. The talented pianist impressed the audience from the first seconds of the performance. The clear and delicate timbre of the violins, combined with the voluminous and velvety cello, has added a new depth to the masterful play of Yevgeny. None of the attendees remained indifferent. The Parade of Nations was finished with the Parade of Flags under the music of the legend of Ukrainian show business Pianoboy Dmitry Shurov. The new composition of the artist perfectly broadcasted the main message of the event – “you are not alone”. In fact, the Parade of Nations brings together the souls and hearts of people of different countries and nationalities.
During the evening Ukraine was represented by the following artists: the winner of the Voice of the Country-4 TV project, the winner of the Grand Prix of the British International Vocal Competition “Stars of the Albion-2019” – Grohotsky, Artist of the Creative Association PARADIZ – Darina Halytska; opera singer, popular Chinese artist Darina May; Honored Cultural Worker of Georgia, Honored Performer of Performing Arts of Ukraine – Tamila Joniivna Gvadzhia and Honored Artist of Ukraine, Honored Artist of Crimea, Finalist of the National Eurovision Song Contest – Lenara Osmanova.
In the time of the concert program, all the guests had the opportunity to communicate with each other, to discuss the most pressing issues and to establish the cooperation. The main goal of the event is to unite nations for the sake of peace and prosperity, by learning about the cultures, history and traditions of different states and to deepen the relations between Ukraine and the world.
— It is very difficult to tell in a few words about such a great country as India. We are the largest democracy on the planet with a population of over a billion. Our economy is booming. Today we will showcase India through the art of dance. But this is just a drop in the sea of our country’s culture and traditions – says Exraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of India in Ukraine, Mr. Partha Satpathi.
— In my opinion, it is very important to organize such events because your country – Ukraine knows that a positive step is needed. This event is actually such a step, which is why I am here. Today you will hear a Belgian-Ukrainian singer representing Belgium. Perhaps culture and art are the best ways to bring people together. There are undoubtedly other economies, for example, but the most effective is culture and the arts – says Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassor of Belgium in Ukraine, Mr. Alex Lenarts.
Every year at the Nations Parade, Ukraine presents itself not only through music or singing, but also through talented Ukrainian designers. The Ukrainian brand that quickly wins the hearts of fashion lovers, not only in Ukraine but also abroad, LKcostume had demonstrated new “looks” of diplomatic and business dress code, showing how comfortable and stylish clothes can be.
— This year’s Parade of Nations is very large as in the number of participating countries as well as in the number of guests. Thanks to the high level of organization of the Parade, we owe the General Partners, Charity Partners, patrons and sponsors. For us, for the participating countries, and for Ukraine as a whole, it is an invaluable contribution to a promising future – said Mrs. Anna.

It is noticeable that a titanic and powerful work has been carried out that produces results from year to year, and Parade of Nations has become an annual charity event. Unfortunately, in our society there is almost no culture of charity. Why thisn happens is a philosophical question, it can take a long time to talk about it. But how much should pay tribute to Anna Avramenko, who managed charitable actions, such unselfish entertainment, to involve the international community, to unite society. Show that there are people in need of help, not always material. And charity is not only about raising money, but also about unity and understanding. You know, this evening, my wife and I heard people agreeing to visit each other, from different countries – visits to help, discussing treatment, education children who need it. And I realized that when I see the eyes of a child we were able to help with difficult surgery, and to extend her life. When I see her running, see her grow up – as if she is saturated with incredibly great life energy. When I see the eyes of the talented little boy Vanichka Gnilosir, a child from a large, poor family who helped with a trip to a competition where the child receives the All-Ukrainian Prize, it is also motivating. I see that her life is filled with joyous emotions, the same emotions fill me. When I see a summer teacher come on a wheelchair and now she can walk, it is very inspiring to work on. And to help others … I am grateful to Heaven that I have the opportunity to help others. And so warm to the soul that there are people on this planet who are ready to share the warmth of their soul!.

— We were invited as people who were involved in the creation of the Foundation for the Protection and Support of Talented Children.” Both, me and my husband are the co-founders of the Foundation for the Protection and Support of Talented Children. And Vera Kalnyk is our chairman and head of director it for 8 years. The Foundation itself has been around for 25 years. It was founded in 1993 by Anatoly Kukoba – husband of Vera Kalnik. Now all our efforts are directed to support the talented children of Poltava. We organize exhibitions of their drawings, organize competitions, organize workshops, we help for the large families and for the children with disabilities. We are happy with what we do! And we are glad to share this experience with the whole world!
According to the plans of the organizers, the “Parade of Nations 2020” will be even larger. It is planned to attract at least 60 cranes of the world and hold it in a more open form, previously in the October Palace for 2500 spectators.
