Ukrainian musicians, singers and dancers throughout the week introduced the traditional Ukrainian motifs to the public of various cities all over the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
Ensemble of Academic Folk Dance “Nadzbruchanka” of the Ternopil Regional Philharmonic, Honored Artist of Ukraine Ruslana Lotsman, Honored Artist of Ukraine Boris Repka and Natalia Stets came to Jordan for the first time to participate in the Jerash Festival of Culture and Arts and conduct independent performances in the capital and the Dead Sea.
From the first day of the visit to the Holy Land, Ukrainians filled the ancient city of Petra with sonorous songs and passionate dances, later performed in Irbid, in the ancient amphitheater of Jerash, the children’s village SOS in Amman, gave a solo concert at the Al Hussein Cultural Center in Amman, acted at Le Royal hotel during the official reception of the Embassy of Ukraine on the occasion of the Constitution Day, played a concert on the Dead Sea.
The creative program of the artists contained both funny and humorous compositions, as well as lyrical and patriotic works. The local public and the Ukrainian community who attended the concerts of the Ukrainian collective, enthusiastically supported every song with applause and remained excited about the performances, and after the concerts they sincerely thanked all the artists for the emotions.
